Important

Must be nice. Im taking the week of Feb 15-17th off to fix exhaust gaskets on the EX and get jeep and trailer ready for WF. Never have enough vacation time to get things done.

Someone screwed up at ford. We have 16 trucks F250s and 350s coming in that all are getting new front axles. I just unloaded a 50 ft trailer loaded front to back with 60s.

Im curious to see what the cores look like! :D

Let me know if you can get the cores for a cheap price.

Got a call at 6:45 am from the guy I was going to interview with on the 20th. He said they are looking to fill the position sooner than they thought and he wants to meet up tonight!!

I'm excited!

Nice. They are gonna be in Chicago next month on my birthday. Thought about getting some tickets till I seen the price of them. Holy cow are they expensive

I have not missed a show since the late 80's. It's almost sad to watch them now a days, but they are in my blood. I'm betting with their age n overall shape of the band, this may well be their last hoorah.

I love finding stuff the previous owner of a Jeep did to it. A TJ LP30 with Renix era outer knuckles/hubs/brakes makes for a really hard time buying hubs/brakes when you have no idea it was all different.

After putting together the housing I bought from Mac last WF I now have a HP30 with TJ hubs/brakes. At least it will all be new, shouldn't have to worry about it for a long time.

When old meets new...bring on the snow!

We are supposed to get about 1.5 feet over the next 5 days. The old engine was tired and burning a ton of oil, it also needed a new tank, a new carb and a bunch of stuff...almost $100 in parts alone. The new predator was on sale this week and harbor freight just opened here just before Christmas. It would almost be a bolt in operation on this old Ariens if the motor mount studs were 1/4" longer. Works awesome though...need a new throttle cable and maybe a new belt and it will pretty much be a new machine

I will be using a ventless heater ran off natural gas. They say these put out condensation. I think the biggest issue is when the room isn't ventilated well enough.

That is one of my next questions that I'll have that I think seanr will have an answer for me on. Just gotta get some measurements and pictures first.

My dad had a ventless gas heater in his shop and a tin ceiling. It never condensated?, but the area above it turned brown from the residue. We took it out and now has a vented furnace.

I've got 2x10 boards(measures a little under 9" from bottom of board to roof) 16" on center for my ceiling.

Do I want an r-25 insulation for the ceiling or do R-19 for a larger air gap?

Roof is made of 1x10's with tar paper on top and then tin on top of that.

Picture of ceiling for reference.

I would leave an air space. otherwise the wood will collect condensation.
