Well looks like we have a tow rig for when we head to Harlan in July. Gonna use dad's 3/4 ton dodge ram to tow jeep down. Been trying to get him to just sell it to us but he hasn't decided to sell it yet.

its been posted for a bit, so i may offer him a G and see if he would take it. i need a truck still, but that will be coming soon. i have a $1200 check for a class i taught a few weeks ago so i may just spend that on a trailer...

Is a flashing check engine light bad?

The wife washed the 5.9 and after the car wash it started chugging and the cel was flashing. It did quit flashing and she made it to where she was going.

I think some things just got wet.

Yes. Flashing means shut off now or you risk serious damage.

I think flashing is usually a misfire code. Maybe distributor got wet or something.

Now that I think about it, the new tps has the plug on top and the air intake doesn't completely seal around the throttle body. I'll bet some mist/water got into the intake.

I work at a gravel pit with an old scale. I don't have the luxury of digital. Got a salamander out there....

Only problem I see is width. Note how the channel goes up from the deck at inside fender height. Your jeep may fit now...no way mine would...measure up before you buy.

Flashing means massive misfire, shut it off, you'll destroy the cat with all that fuel.

It's not going to catastrophically explode..
