Important

If like one in 9mm but I've heard a few iffy things about them quality wise.

I owned two and still have one. Quality is good. It's a super fun gun and makes a great truck gun. A lot of PDs that use Glocks are starting to carry these in the truck of their cruisers.

Harrison's 2nd birthday is coming up next weekend. I bought him his first fishing rod today. Not that he'll be able to use it this year, but by the time fishing season rolls around next year, he should be able to cast and reel like an old pro.

Before it's asked, I got him a Zebco Dock Demon closed spinner.

242 swap 90% complete. Still need to change yokes on the 30 for u-joint driveshaft, but the hard part is done. No broken bolts!

Now a question - Is this enough spline engagement? There is about 2" of engagement at ride height. This is with the 242 donor shaft. The 249 shaft bottoms out on the t'case about 1/16" before I can get it into the rear yoke. I could get it shortened if you guys think this one is going to fall out under articulation.

Also, I am having an issue with 4 Fulltime. Thread here: http://naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?p=245933688#post245933688

Odd, when I swapped the 242 into our 5.9 ZJ, I used a 98 XJ 242 case and it was plug and play with no issues for driveshafts. I used all the stock stuff (including driveshafts) from the 5.9.

If it was mine I would prefer more engagement on the driveshaft. As far as your issue, my guess is the 230k on the tcase :looney:

Does it have line on it? :D

Just picked up a used mile marker winch this past weekend and need everybody's opinion on it. It needs a new cable put on it. Since we don't use our winch's that much except for the couple trips we go on every year, should i put regular cable back on it or upgrade it to synthetic rope? Also where would you all suggest would be the best place to get either the cable or rope?

Find someone who upgrades to synthetic and buy thier cable for pennys on hte dollar. Synthetic is waaay safer.

I have synthetic, but if I had to do it again I probably just would have stayed with steel.
