Important

Details...and how we can get it to Ohio. I could visit nate and Jenny.

'94 HO I put in the '91 after I killed the original. Had 60k miles on it when I got it, probably another 10k in the heep. I started it and drove it in the garage to take it out. Still had 40 psi at idle. It's been in the garage with the manifolds on it since Doug took the body home.

How soon do you need it? It can go to Harlan and then to you, but that's July 4th.

Buy it Dan, i don't wanna be the only person bringing an engine home from the crawl! :D

already then.... Made a deal with Kman for a tranny and tcase, just off the phone with Redheep and made a deal on a motor that will make it's way to Michigan via the MWC parts train. (Mac, you're involved)

Now I need the linkage for the case and a high pinion d30 w 3.55 gears.

If I sell my Jeep, I have decided that this 01 will become my new trail rig.

Looks like I'm gonna need to borrow my stepdads utility trailer to haul a motor home. I will probably have room for parts if anyone down south needs parts delivered. I think it's a 6x8.

I'm still looking for the odd-ball 2.5L Auto trans (and possibly the 2.5L depending on year)...

I'm taking the big trailer to Harlan so I can bring back pretty much anything but another rig...

Uh.... maybe. That doesn't hold for all. I do know that on the Cummins 2nd Gen 24v engines that it's a really good idea to only run the OEM filters. The cheap filters can come apart and blow filter media down the oil passages. Right after their introduction, a TSB came out advising that any oiling related engine failures under warranty will be denied if an aftermarket oil filter had ever been used.

That would have violated Magnuson-Moss. They would have to prove the aftermarket oil filter was of insufficient construction or have offered free OEM filters to enforce that.

I'm looking for a rebuildable renix block for cheap/free too.

I have a buddy that has one...I was planning on driving the LJ to the blessing and not sure how I would get the motor there...

Insufficient construction was proven. Teardown of the motors with bad aftermarket filters showed that filter media had blown out of the filters and plugged oil passages and jets. Once the pattern has been shown, at a minimum, the initial brands are a known problem.
