just scored a non disco hp dana 30 complete with brakes and 4.10 gears...all for the monstrous price of $80 
good things come to those who wait. now as soon as i get my 8.8 from kim at winterfest (collin will hopefully be picking it up if his burb gets fixed) i will have a 4.10 gear upgrade for the massive price of $180...not bad. that should leave plenty of cash for a disc brake upgrade and some other goodies

8.8 is a drum brake model...but explorer 8.8 brake parts from newer disc models are bolt on
im getting it from kim with antiwrap perches welded in...should be a bolt in operation

F150 is 28sp iirc, you'd be bettet off with one from a 95+ exploder.

from what i've always read all explorers and f-150's are 31 spline...only mustangs came with 28.
could be wrong though.
either way the front was too good to pass up. i will probably trade the f150 for the explorer axle and just stay mostly stock for the time being
