Important

My last house had a 22 x 36 double door garage. I could get two vehicles in one side and had a shop area on the other with storage for all the lawn/yard stuff on the same side. It was big enough to work in, but not so big to encourage extra crap. A four door garage might have been nicer.. but I would have left so many tools laying around all over walking from one end to the other to work on stuff.

Thinking about looking at a house again. Real nice house with an open floor plan, fenced in back yard and 4 car heated garage and they only want 75k. Just heard the property taxes went up in that neighborhood though so we'll see about that.

Speaking of houses, working on getting one of my own. Trying to figure out a closing date with the realtor and bank, I travel too much on short notice.

They say it is a 30x60 heated shop but I think it is bigger then that. ;)

ZJ SEATS...

i broke 3 xj seats before i just put in a set of zj seats. i paid 40 bucks for my set and they are really nice...and sturdy as heck. my butt has sat in the drivers seat of well over 200k miles and i must say i'll never go back to xj seats for my fat butt

i have 02 wj seats in my 02 wj. the pass side is nice but the drivers side either the PO was a hefty SOB or its my fault but the steel bars are coming threw the back part and it sucks.

What to do with $1k...
These are the options I've come up with:
A) Try and find a trailer (would probably need some form of work done for this price)
B) Finish Stroker Project (Or pretty darn close)
C) Get Cage installed and have 400-500 left over for?
D) Build Cage and use remaining for stroker parts?

My gut says I need a trailer more than anything else, but I could potentially finish one big project or finish a small project and get a lot of parts for another...

Get a trailer, that way if you want to take the XJ wheeling and not drive it so you can go a little further then you would with a DD, you can.

$1k is not going to get you a trailer capable of hauling an XJ, at least not without a lot of work & other parts put into it. Okay, you might get *REALLY* lucky, but realistically, even used trailers are going to be at least double that, new will be 3-4 times that.

Bolt on (no modification on the rails)? Same size as XJ seats but betteR?

sort of bolt on...you have to take the bottom brackets off both seats, then bolt the xj brakets onto the zj seat...then it bolts right into your xj. its a little tight getting a wrench in some spots, but if you use a gear wrench its not too bad

Is the bracket the piece that broke on mine?
