Important

I just witnessed a guy jump off of a weather baloon at 128k feet. That was intense. He broke the speed of sound and landed successfully.
I first read about Alex Baumgartner in Popular Mechanics about 2 years ago. I'm glad he finally got it all together. Looked like it wasn't going to happen for a while. I saw the show on Discovery and every time I turned it on, it was Mythbusters. Not that I don't like Mythbusters, but Stripes is better and I was immediately impatient without the actual story being on the tv.

It was live on the website for 5 hours with telemetry. We were watching on the big screen on the media machine.

Whoops, I meant Felix, not Alex.

I didn't know I could watch it other places. I didn't really research it too much either. I'm sure it will play again sometime. Had to be cool.

I did this as well.

dude got out, said something about the view, thanked everyone involved and just stepped off a platform that was 128,000 feet above the earth.

He's got balls.
but I think Kittinger had bigger.

I saw that his suit telemetry recorded 730 MPH, so if the FAI concurs,he missed going supersonic by about 40 MPH.

My 10/22 loves the federal. It will not feed golden bullets. My Marlin Model 60 will eat anything.

my 10/22 got better with the Federal as it broke in. It gets hard to keep an accurate count on how much has gone thru it. My 12 year old believes in the video game method of shooting... spray,spray,spray.. reload.. start over.

Grace stopped the moment she found out. She likes to party also and it wasn't too bad for her...tho there were times. She's feeding the baby so she still can't drink for a while. I told her she was due for a pump n dump to enjoy some adult beverages.

It took us 6 months from the time we pulled the goalie. We aren't trying again until after Moab next year.

Congrats on the baby Sam!

yea we were kinda hoping it would take about 2 months. o well, maybe next time.
Congrats!

As much as I've played the math game, the babies always seem to come out right on the date or a couple days early. You should plan for that May date to happen.

You not partying (drinking is not partying) will go a long way towards making that transition easier. Better for both of you.

I put extra goalies in the game!

I am really really really really done having kids.

red 'super sperm' heep
when i say party i am referring to my 4 closest married couple friends/family drinking in either my basement, backyard, or garage. nothing special. we have agreed that i wont get samtasic wasted every weekend but i wont stop drinking either.

i still think the date will change because doc says shes 8 weeks preggers but 7 weeks ago aunt flow was in town soooooo.
in this case i think doc is off by 2 weeks.

Checked to make sure they really are blanks?

did my party yesterday put the nail in the coffin for this thought for you.

had my 6yr olds party yesterday, 180 dollar bounce house rental sitting in the rain all day. way to many people crammed into my small 1950's house.

told the wife, this is why we need a house on enough land to have a big arse barn to put the bounce house in.

definitely that was rough. you think i was standing outside in the rain for my health. situations like that make me think any crappy weather bdays might either get postponed or have it at some rec center of some type. although i had a good time. would have been better if you cleaned your garage.

My girlfriend quit smoking and drinking when pregnant. It was hard on both of us. I had to cut back on all of the partying but when she could drink again she didnt go at it with a vengance.

in our little group we have seen a couple wife's drinking habits change completely after the kid. there is one girl that could drink heavy every weekend and party with the best of them. since her 1st kid about 4 years ago i don't believe i have seen her drunk once. not that that's a bad thing but i expect my wife will still indulge under the right circumstances when the time comes.

SAM'still hasn't sunk in completely yet"SET

Couples that have a Facebook they sure make me lol.
Don't they? A couple I went to high school with have one...I see their name pop up in the "people you may know" section. I know each one individually, but haven't been around them married and they seem like a couple of psychos now.
I wish I had time to watch tv, T is a slave driver on her days off. Can't wait till she goes to work. :D
Honey do.

i like the way you think....

bourbon...or bourbon with a splash of coke or go home...though the last time i drank hard (brothers bachelor party) i drank a whole bottle of beam, slept 3 hours and then drove 3 hours back to get my brother and his kiddo to the airport in time...all with no hangover... i was almost 60lbs heavier at that time though. it scares me to think what that might do to me now

Off for another week...

No part time, no regular...just to enjoy the family and???

I don't know how to go without a job...

I have a couple projects but no $$...
