o also she is having a little bit of a hard time. you see my wife is a hard partier like myself and she has not had a drink since she found out. kinda upset. yesterday when i told my family m brother and i had a cigar and we were drinking beer and toasting. she had this sad look i asked whats wrong and she said "i want to drink beer and smoke cigars toooo"

yea she knows better. i told her its hard now but give it another month or so and she should break the habit or at least crave it less. but in reality what do i know.

Grace stopped the moment she found out. She likes to party also and it wasn't too bad for her...tho there were times. She's feeding the baby so she still can't drink for a while. I told her she was due for a pump n dump to enjoy some adult beverages.

It took us 6 months from the time we pulled the goalie. We aren't trying again until after Moab next year.

Congrats on the baby Sam!

As much as I've played the math game, the babies always seem to come out right on the date or a couple days early. You should plan for that May date to happen.

You not partying (drinking is not partying) will go a long way towards making that transition easier. Better for both of you.

having a bunch of rug-rats running around your backyard that has a pool in it is easier than your living room.

did my party yesterday put the nail in the coffin for this thought for you.

had my 6yr olds party yesterday, 180 dollar bounce house rental sitting in the rain all day. way to many people crammed into my small 1950's house.

told the wife, this is why we need a house on enough land to have a big arse barn to put the bounce house in.

My girlfriend quit smoking and drinking when pregnant. It was hard on both of us. I had to cut back on all of the partying but when she could drink again she didnt go at it with a vengance.

I forgot to add that as new parents we learned its not good for your wife to eat buffalo chicken wings.

The baby was up all night Friday night.

I kept up with the normal-ish pace of drinking while Meganne was pregnant. But I quit smoking when I moved up here. I still have a cig every now and again when I'm drinking, but I do pretty well. Weekends with the boys out of town are the worst. I pretty well revert back to my old habits, but still drop it when the weekend is over. Not good, but everyone indulges.

Meganne did the pump and dump a few times. Often she would pump up a small stock just so she could have a night of drinking. Breast feeding was awesome. I never woke up in the middle of the night to feed him since she was doing the bonding thing. After he gave up the tit, I started giving him his middle of the night feedings once in a while. It's not all that bad.

It's awesome now that he sleeps through the night. His feeding schedule is what ours should be. So it's not so bad anymore. He takes 2 naps a day so there's a little room for one for myself if we're not busy with all the other stuff in our lives.

Josh, you should look into the shawno area for shooring sports. My dad used to be the state director for WI for handgun silhouette (ihmsa). There was a really nice club that had a lot of events up that way.
I used to shoot smallbore rifles competitavely and shot a lot of matches in depere. Its out there, just not publicised very well..
I found a great little range on the east side of GB. Modern range, training, air soft range, rentals, etc. I'm not as interested in doing the competition stuff as learning what it is, right now. Right now I just want to refine my skills and learn some tactical/practical home/self protection skills. Or kind of training for fast shooting, multiple targets, friendly/foe firing, etc. Basically wanting to be a civilian with a greater knowledge of what a SWAT guy would know, even if it's a bit dumbed down.

I have to schedule another test next week. Nothing like baring your soul in the little room at the clinic with "Specimen Collection" stenciled on the door.

Good thing I'm an expert :D

I never went back to have mine checked, however I've been field testing for the past 18 years.

All good so far, but I think more testing in in order.

I was using federal bulk pack (or what was left of it). I had some feed issue, I don't know if it was the bulk pack or the gun still being somewhat new. I have only put 500-600 rounds down it now with 1/2 of that being yesterday. The issue i had was that my P22 is a 3.5" barrel. It is fun to shoot at the range for fun, but for this match, it is lacking length. Others where shooting 5 to 7" long barrels. I plan on getting a ruger 10/22 this next winter. Then getting a Weaver style rail and get a red dot on top. Then 4-5 BX-25 magazines I should be good for this type of match. Had I known about these matches when buying my P22, I probably would have gotten a Ruger MKII or MKIII. They don't have a full sliding slide on top and I could put a red dot on top of it and the barrel is longer. I have shot a S&W 15-22 during these matches and did descent.

I have had some feed issues on both my 10/22 and my MkII Anniversary using Federal Red box bulk(wally world stuff). Probably 2 or 3 failure to feeds out of 100 on both at the start.

The 10/22 has gotten better as more rounds go through it. The MkII... just doesn't like the Fed red box stuff. I switched to Remington Golden Bullet for the random plinking. The 10/22 has been fine with it. The MkII is still having feed problems with it. Using a box of match grade stuff a co-worker gave me in the MkII, it didn't have any failures.

My 10/22 loves the federal. It will not feed golden bullets. My Marlin Model 60 will eat anything.

I just witnessed a guy jump off of a weather baloon at 128k feet. That was intense. He broke the speed of sound and landed successfully.
