x3 Mine's only 1.5 years and boy does it seem like yesterday when he was born. I can truely see were all the old guys say it flies when their kid is 20!

The layoff annoucement at my plant has been made. THey are going to trasfer some to another plant in town and layoff 35. Its right around 130 people and i'm at 177 on the seniority list so my job is safe but i may end up moving to second. I can deal with that, plus I get an extra dollar an hour.

Got an offer of a stock 92 YJ in trade for my ZJ plus a little cash. I was kinda thinking about it until I got pics. I'm not messing with softball sized rust holes in the rocker panels. Especially not with a 2.5l.

I think that's the best way to go about that. The YJ might be easier to move for cash, but I wouldn't want to take on the issue of selling something like that to another human being.
Unless they're an idiot like one of us and think it's a good idea to get into a rusted to hell project.

That's what I was thinking. He kept saying he had patch panels, but that doesn't do anything about the undercarriage. He lives up by Lake MI, so I know it's gonna be rusty underneath. Don't get me wrong, I'd love a open top Jeep, but I'm not looking for a full on resto.

seriously though, I simply have no interest.
I am a selfish human being. I am self aware enough to know this. I like to do what I want, when I want to do it. I also have no emotional attachments to children.
You know when people see a newborn and they all go "oooo, he/she is soooo cute"
I don't have that reaction. I am Mr. Spock, it's all logic up in this bitch, logically I don't see why anyone would want to have children in our society. Besides, there's too many people on this planet anyway.
We'll just say that I am a unique individual in my thinking. I rarely find someone that thinks in the same manner, and I only occasionally find someone that follows my thoughts. I am an acquired taste.
I told my wife we could adpot a child, but the minimum age is 5, and they have to speak, understand logic, and be housebroken.

My friend did some work to his xj already.

I honestly like the black wheels better then the chrome.
I do not know if he has a full size spare, other then that and first aid kit and fire extinguisher, he would be ready to ride with this group.

Same here. The ZJ was clean and straight before WF. My 01 didn't have a straight body panel on it, including the roof.

Good, this world would get real crowed with more Nates. It would be good with more Jenny's, but the 50/50 chance isn't worth the risk.
