Really?

Maybe you should re-evaluate your career path. Even as a production geek you should have a good understanding of electrical theory.

That is what engineers are for. The most I have to to do with electrical wiring here at work or free lance jobs is coil cables or at work the rare time I have to unplug something.

Pull into the driveway of a house I am working on, get out of the truck, close the door and I hear "click" the door locked. The keys are in the ignition. I am stuck here in a empty house with no heat or running water until 5:30. And that is not even the wort of my day. I start my computer this morning, open up quick books and my LLC company file is gone, not even listed in the menu. I am beginning to think I am cursed or something.

Okay, my day doesn't look so bad. I'm just dealing with a bunch of crap from [l]users here. Oh, and in a warm office building.

I just dropped a 13' long piece of freshly stained and poly'ed trim on the garage floor, and splashed stain all over my shoes and my bench. It is almost time to start drinking.

The old man stopped by and brought me a pic from the blizzard in 78 that I've been looking for.

must be something in the air today...I have had more bizzare happenings or phone calls w/ landowners today then I care to discuss. I am ready for a cold beer....too bad I am not closer Sean, I would bring over some cold beers for me and a hot cocoa for you to warm your dainty tummy and your cold footy wootsies:D

I'm just tired of working...tho we had some fun last night at work...

I have been getting up at 4AM each morning (as you can tell mac from my WWF games :D) and getting equipment started and helping Camilles dad out choring before I head to work. These temps are no fun, I told hime we are getting a new skidsteer next season w/ A/C and heat. We had some bad fuel that has caused some gelling problems, but we about have that taken care of...Howes is our friend

You appear to sleep as little as I do...

tis true...it is weird that when I was in highschool and college I fell asleep early all the time and would need lots of sleep...as I have become old and overweight, I require about 3-4 hours of sleep and then I will physically crash about once a month for a day. Not a healthy lifestyle, but it helps to provide for our needs (and wants).

Driving into work my stomach did something funny. Didn't think nothing of it until I got to work. Two trips to the restroom and was thinking about taking a sick day. Feeling went away and I though I would be good. Around 30 minutes later it came back, used a sick day. Glad I did.

I need sleep...I usually end up with four hours in the morning and two hours before I go back into work...

I hate it.

We are short staffed this week at the part time so it doesn't help.

Looking back on it, I'm sort of surprised that we never had any diesel gel problems on the farm while I was growing up. The JD 3020 is cold blooded, it really wants to be plugged it or it won't start much below freezing.

I stopped buying fuel at the local truck stop a year ago here. Fuel is generally cheap, and with the amount of trucks that go through there, the fuel is usually relatively fresh. The problem is that the owner does buy the absolute cheapest fuel he can get, and it's *NOT* treated for 10 degrees or lower. Twice now, (Jan/2011 and Jan/2010,) I've bought a full tank of fuel and within 20 miles had it wax over. I changed the second one at 5 degrees outside, and it came out as almost a solid ball of wax, and that's even with a full bottle of fuel treatment in the tank. It might be a nickel to a dime cheaper there, but I just can't afford to buy it, there's too much risk that it's going to gel up in the lines on me.

Well my day has gotten a little better, I picked up two home inspections for tomorrow! The afternoon wasn't a total waists, I tore out carpet and ripped up hardwood flooring. Good thing I had a shovel in the back of my truck.
Still in a cold dark house waiting for Lar to rescue me.
Sean"peed in a sink"R

No but the joke was on me, because after I posted that I noticed a liquid coming out from under the sink, HAHAHA the drain was disconnected.
I cleaned it up with old carpet padding.
Now I get home and I get a red light violation from the City of Rosemont in the mail. I am pretty sure I have never run a red light in Rosemont.

Work was annoying today.....big surprise. But after work I had my teeth cleaned. The hygienist's rack felt nice against the side of my head. :D Then I go to Gander Mountain and the Cute girl behind the gun counter was talking my ear off about her guns! :loveu:

My boss was doing an inspection (construction) on a new house a few years ago. He was "using" the sump pit and the homeowners walked in. The good news was he was only peeing, so he could zip up pretty quick.

Not sure why, but you both made me laugh.
