Just went to the garage to try my new quartz heater. Turned the lights on and nothing happened. I leaned over all the crap on the floor steadied myself on the wall and low and behold the lights come on. I took pressure off the wall lights go off. Pressure on the wall above the switch work and the lights come back on.


Looks like I'm out on cleaning the garage until Sunday...

Oh, another great thing about today. Not only is the garage I got access to with air tools. In winter, it has a heater! I was sweating while working on the wiring harness.

I do have a question. In the process of installing my harness, I lost a screw and a nut. The screw was just for the grill and there is three still holding it on. I lost the nut that holds the battery tie down down. Anyone know what size nut I need to buy? I know it is a 13mm, but don't know what the bolt size is.

Like GoSlow said, M8x1.25 for the hold down, and #6 HiLo for the grille. You could pull another off and take it in and match it. Otherwise just get some #6 screws around 3/4-1" long.

Stupid question I should know the answer to but I'm going to ask anyway. HPD30 shafts from a 92ish XJ will or will not drop into 96 ZJ LPD30. Trying to get rid of the CVs.

they should drop right in...i think they have the smaller ujoints, but would be a big step up from cv's

Byron, if you get this done before WF, would you wanna sell me the CV shafts? I'd like to use them in my DD XJ for comfort reasons...As long as they're not shot to hell.

restricted duty for yet another 3 weeks. doctor thinks maybe I broke my metatarsal at the same time I broke my ankle , whatever the hell that is, I think it's a bone in my foot.
