This is a two stage fermentation, first batch should be interesting.
That's a pretty good kit. I also didn't realize that Kalamazoo Brewing had branched out into HBS (that's a good thing actually, they make some good beer.)This is the kit, also got a brew pot, and bottles.

Dad bought it for me for Xmas. Seems more detailed than a Mr. Beer.
Extract = malted barley that's been run through a mashing process, then the wort is either condensed down to liquid malt extract, or dried for dry malt extract. This is more or less the first stage in all grain breweing. What do you mean by extract kits?
Like what I have?
Idk what the time is for setting that stuff around and letting it do it's magic and carb, but maybe you'll have some for WF?
You mean, will he have any LEFT by WF?
Wait a sec. I thought you said this was a 2 stage fermentation? Your equipment kit is set up for 2 stage fermentation, this kit (http://www.ldcarlson.com/public catalog/Brewers Best Recipes/1026.pdf) only lists 1 stage.
Merry Christmas everyone. It's been christmas out here all day, but I know most of you are just getting to lunch.
