When i lived in blue island i passed up the mall (that was half way torn down for a very long time) every day on my way to and from work.

Dixie Square Mall is still standing for the most part. The mall was actually already closed for real life when they filmed the original movie. The producers spiffed up the parts they were filming in. I have a friend who goes urban exploring in there all the time.

BTW, the mall never did have a Toys R Us or Jewel store in the mall originally. Those two were placed in the movie after the two original stores refused to let the movie producers use the store fronts.

I finally finished putting the BW cuttoffs on!
While I had the rear wheel off, I decided to upgrade the bump stops...
Had to remove the shocks @ the lower mount...
I'm getting mighty tired of broken bolts...
