the 100.00 setup with 36" hoes, they could be even a little shorter. they are plenty long. on 2001 xj with dana 60 hp front

I'm sure I will have plenty of pics to post up of the whole build up. Its a slow process right know. I'm working nights right now which means I don't have time to spend in the shop to work on stuff. Hopefully I can get it finished up by the end of February, or early March. Not including the Hydro parts, the only stuff I still need to buy are the front shafts and a locker.
Assuming you will be at the Fall Fling, I can get the video of you actually making it up The Escalator then.

the selections is always changing at SurplusCenter.com right now they have a 1.5x8x.75 ram listed but none in stock, and a 1.5x8x1 ram that's more expensive than the one I used. I used the 36" lines with 1/4npt on both ends, 45* 1/4npt swivel fittings at the steering box, 90* 1/4npt swivel fittings at the ram, and whatever adapter is needed to get the ram to 1/4npt.

it's holding up well, I bent a .75 shaft (direct rock to ram contact) and replaced it with the $50 1.5x8x1 ram. I've never seen one on a 30, but I don't see why not. A knuckle to knuckle tie-rod will make the mounting a little easier.
