measure your steering throw side to side. My old dana 44 was 7.5".

It will depend on your pitman arm and your knuckles.

most dana 30 guys run a 6" ram.

Mine measured 7.25" but I also think my stops have been much shorter than others. I've always noticed my steering gets pretty sharp lol
I can get a 1.5x8x1 for $85 abd a 1.5x6x1 for $84 at a local hydraulic shop.
