If you buy an SYE you will need a new driveshaft and the first thing to do is spray every bolt and nuts on the suspension with PB Blaster its your best help right now spray it for once or twice a day for a few days.

Age and location make ALL the difference in an install like this.
This lift could be put on in 4 hours on an '89 if the rig lived in CA all its life.
Here in the midwest, even a '99 is going to be a bear because of what the road salt has done to the underside.
Get some PB Blaster at NAPA.
NO, WD-40 WONT WORK THE SAME WAY.
Soak every bolt you will be removing 2 times daily for at least a week.
Have the right tools; breaker bars, jackstands, air tools, etc. before you start.
Search the forums and look for common 'issues' that come up for a lift install in the dreaded Midwest.
Good luck.

Have at least 2 jack stands and a floor jack, I even used 3 j-stands at one point.....I didn't have air tools...but they would make things go faster....DEFINITELY soak bolts with PB BLASTER as often and long as you can!!!
I searched for a long time and found write ups that people wrote on their installation process and "copy/pasted" them into a word document and printed it so that I would have it all with me while doin the lift. I was by myself so it was like having everyone there helping me (knowledge wise)!
