help installing my stroker?

Depending on the date & grabbing a ride with Collin, I have turned a wrench or two.

Damn! Collin is gonna have a full vehicle. He might need to buy a bus too! :D

No sweat, may smooth the ride a bit with all us fat fawkers.

haha im very thankful for all the offers, we may have to make an event out of it. im thinkin that if we get it done in a weekend then i may have to run down to the lake for a little MWC pontoon boat ride lol, then walk up to the bar that i work at

as for why i chose Golen, i was EXTREMELY impressed with the customer service, Chad has been great to work with.

I'd offer a hand, but between vacation now and being gone a week in June, my brownie points with the wifey will be used up.

Sounds like you have a great crew lined up already, good luck!

I can pretty much do it whenever, especially if it's over a weekend. I have friggin Summer classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but I can make pretty much anytime work. Oh and Tyler, I'd be happy to bring a Missourian with a nacho cheese machine along, that always makes engine swaps easier.

Im willing to throw in with you iowa boys, i can supply another vehicle and pretty much any tool you could want, if we can do it over a weekend. I dont work friday, saturday or sunday. Let me know, if someone chips in some gas money im down for a trip.

if you guys wanted to drive down from iowa i could definetly chip in the gas money. i can even get you guys a hotel room down here for somewhere like 45 bucks a night on beautiful lake monroe lol

but im hoping for a call from chad soon to see when i can get the motor here.

oh for sure, maybe bring it to the bar, ill plug it in next to our captain machine, cuervo machine, and jeager machine hahaha

Yeah get 'em drunk thats real productive! :D

I hear ya there! My GF hasn't talked to me since Thursday and it may be another week before I hear from her....I think my brownie points are in the negative right now. Really sucks because I bought her a ring and had intended to give it to her Saturday night :sad1: and I can't give it to her next Saturday because she will want to kill me on Sunday when I am running around the garages and pits at Indy from 6am to 7pm :shhh: She gets po'ed because I get to hang around the drivers and teams and she's stuck out in turn 3 (IF she even goes)......

Get em drunk and on Nachos and cheese and nothing will get done the whole weekend .....but some nice hangovers on Monday  and then trying to remember all week what you did over the weekend :)

JS

haha and ill be stuck with a motor put in backwards with nacho cheese all over it!

Thats IF it gets off the floor..... it would make for a nice table to hold the Nacho's and beer

JS

thats true, but apparently this motor comes with a nice crate, hopefully if the motor gets out of the crate, we can put the nacho machine on it!

Ha, I have seen crate motors arrive on a pallet.... cost cutting! Looks like you will have plenty of help and partying..... now if I could have had some of that help working on my shop.....I still need a few things done like finish screwing the roof panels and putting up some trim. I can't climb ladders, my heart meds make me loose balance when I get off the ground or I'd do it :(

now listen up young grasshopper, learn in the ways of the master and you too shalll have faith in the beer and nacho philosophy. If you turn Collin and I loose on a fully intact rig, by the end of the wekend we can have a motor pulled and replaced and running. Just ask me (us) how I know :D It seems as of over the past year that Collin and I are doing full on part outs or motor swaps on a semi regular basis!

As long as it is a nonconflicting weekend, I could think of nothing else I would rather drive 8 hours to do

Sweet so you guys can come back when i get my Golen next year! :D

haha you guys are too funny

i just emailed chad to see how the motor was coming along. so i should have a pretty good idea of when it will be here.

do you guys think i should order a new thermostat and water pump? i just made a shit ton of money serving at the resteraunt (im never a waiter so it was a nice suprise lol)

I would order the new thermostat and water pump, they are cheap and it is nice to have a piece of mind that they are new at the same time as the motor. just my $.02
