Another Ax15 swap question

So im planning on completing my ax15 swap this weekend, but I've hit an issue with the pilot bushing. I assumed my crank is the 1-1/16" bore for the bushing, my xj is an 89 so that would make sense. With this assumption I got a bushing that measures (or at least claims to be), 1.056 O.D. and .756 I.D. but it is just slightly too large on the O.D. It's a dorman, part number 690-042, that I saw recomended by someone doing an ax15 swap on another thread. I put it in the freezer to see if It shrinks a little, and i'll try it again tomorrow, but if that doesn't work I might have a buddy turn it on a lathe. I don't have calipers to measure the bore or the bushing. Does anyone know of a bushing that would work, or know what bore my crank is? Surely I thought that the 1.056 would fit since 1-1/16" is 1.0625, making the bore bigger than the bushing. I've tried a 1" od bearing which was too small, i've also tried a brass bushing (SCHAEFFLER BS0040) which did fit perfectly, but the ID is too small for my input shaft. I couldn't find any measurements for this bushing.

I appreciate any help.

Thanks, I was looking for something like this. My jeep is in fact an old stroker which could be why I’m having issues here. I’m going to have a buddy throw the brass bushing that fit on a lathe and trim the id to .755.

Clutch pilot bushing 73 CJ5 304 3sp this will fit it is what I used in my swap.

Try freezing the Dorman 690-042 bushing to shrink it slightly, and if that doesn’t work, have it turned on a lathe. If you can, measure the crank bore with calipers to confirm it's 1-1/16". Alternatively, you could ream the SCHAEFFLER BS0040 bushing to fit your input shaft if it fits the crank well.
