C39v2 with this hot magpul furniture in its way!!
I had a first generation version and while it was ok this second gen has a nicer nitride finish and better build quality.
I am just waiting on two more shipments to finish up this rifle, it consists of AeroPrecision upper and lower, Magpul furniture, and Troy Industries fore-end, with 5.56 specific Nikon 3x12 power scope. The real special parts are the trigger and barrel, the trigger is going to be a Geissele Designated Marksmen Rifle two stage adjustable trigger, and Black Hole Weaponry 1:8 twist Match grade barrel. I plan on adding a Harris bipod and possibly a monopod for the stock also.
New AR build. Threw 160 rounds through it this weekend to sight it in. Super happy - so far the barrel is fantastic. Weighs in at 6.5 lbs unloaded - pretty damn good for an HBAR setup.
Engage Armament forged Upper & Lower
Lothar Walther Heavy Barrel (1/8 Twist - LW50 stainless - Midlength gas - match grade and .223 wylde chambered)
A2 birdcage flash hider / compensator
Fortis Rev Rail (LOVE!!)
ALG QMS Trigger
ALG Buffer Tube
Magpul MOE stock
Sightmark Ultra Shot sight for now. Gonna be getting a Vortex Strikefire 2 and BUIS with 1/3 co-witness setup soon.
Pretty sure i'm gonna add a BCM Mod 4 Charging Handle and a Phase5 extended bolt release in the near future, and some sort of VFG furniture.
I have one on my lcp. Love it. Bought one for my future m&p shield because I know I will use it. Only problem is if you wear a belt it can sometimes be a pain to reach into your pants to grab it.
