GUNS & AMMO

Why do you need to squeeze a pistol between your knees to swap in a fresh magazine? What the hell has the Air Force been teaching you?

I can't imagine any other way to change a magazine one handed: re holster or between the knees?

and LOL to your second question. Im just a half cop at this point.

How are you 1 handed? What did I miss?

If your weapon is functioning as it should then you won't need to re-rack the slide once the new mag is inserted. I would also hope you'd be smart enough to find some cover and not just stand there like a retard in an action movie. Shooting accurately will allow you to not need 18 rounds to put down 1 or 2 assailants. And finally, you are in WY. Its the Cowboy state, cowboys carry 6-shooters, once he runs out just shoot him. Worst case he shot first so if you go round for round you'll have an extra bullet after your last shot. :D

You are way over analyzing this. A personal defense weapon isn't a side arm you take into a combat zone where you are facing down a plethora of assailants. In most any situation where you would use your PDW you are talking about 1, maybe 2 perps in close proximity to you.

With your apparent mindset you better be wearing body armor 24/7 and carrying an M249 because obviously the Koreans have landed and its time for war.

Re: GUNS & AMMO

I have an irrational fear of glocks.

Nothing irrational about that. They're junk. Just try to "drop" a mag out of a glock, particularly an empty mag. Doesn't happen. Ya gotta pull and discard.

"Show your friends your 1911, show your enemies your Glock."

What? And show your adversary you have an inferior weapon?

........Yep. I'm biased. Sorry. :dunno:

Good choice. I've been happy with mine, although after having bought the XDS I kind of wish I'd gone with the full length XDM or even the Tactical instead of the XDM-C. Oh well, my wife has the short mags and I took all her full size mags. The standard XD only had a 4" barrel so at 3.8" on the XDM-C I don't think I'm really losing much.

Brothers new item.

I only carry stick mags...lots to grab onto for quick extractions.

I've had a 2nd gen 19, 3rd gen 32, and a 4th gen 27. No sticky mag problems. Maybe shooters having problems have "thissy thumbs" along with limp wrists... ;-)

Any of ya sold firearms lately and had people get angry/harassing when you didn't want to sell ftf without the legal steps? Kinda pissed me off the reaction and endless emails I got from a guy.

If they are harassing you, they are setting the trap in hopes you'll fold... Then you're busted. Tell them to take a hike. Personally I wouldn't sell anything at this point, or buy, except from someone I personally know.

Well luckily the gun 'sold' via a shop where all legal steps were taken with receipts in my hand.
Just irritating. I'm not very good at the look up emails and figure out who it is thing. I'd really like to know.

Anyway. Here's what I picked up. Po7 duty. Once off back order, imma snag up a threaded barrel for it.

On that note, anyone suggest any NFA folks???
