Finally got around to parting out this '89 2dr I've had sitting around for a long time. Never really looked at it too closely since the outside of it was so beat....... man, talk about a cracked unibody. This was the kid's daily driver until he got deployed...... 
Door about to fall off - torn hinge mounts.
I've NEVER seen this many cracks in the door sills/striker mounts......
Cracks above each "B" pillar.
"C" pillar...... I never was able to open the hatch, jammed shut with a cracked striker mount wedged up in the works I suppose.
When the tilt column quits working and flops around...... Booger weld it! Unfortunately, no one told him you can't weld cast aluminum with a stick welder...... I had to hold the wheel just right to keep the ignition switch engaged......
Not to pick on the poor guy...... but this was his trail rig....... Hopefully he's working in a Fleet Maintenance unit of the Army and will learn a few things.
