Anybody ever do thisto an xj? Had the idea to get a better approach angle. Would prob only be like 2-3 inches Trim body and maybe some tube in the front. Jut wanted to see if anybody has done it

What are you doing now where you're compromised by approach angle? With the right bumper and long arms, Cherokees have a pretty amazing approach angle. Check into the Moab4x4 Outpost bumper; probably the best out there.

i do rub the front of the inner fender a little, but its a nice smooth surface and hasn't hindered my steering noticably when a tire is stuffed.
steering still works, trackbar mount was moved back slightly along with the coil buckets to make the coils sit like stock.
