1. HIRE YOUR OWN INSPECTOR. If the seller pays, the inspector works for THEM.

2. FIND A GOOD, HIGHLY REPUTABLE INSPECTOR. Too many flakes out there--watch a couple episodes of Holmes on Homes and you will get your eyes opened.
