We ended up with just about 6" here, pretty impressive for Atlanta IMO. Had a nice drive in to work this morning, didn't see anyone and even made fresh tracks in places. Went back in tonight and saw a few cars abandoned in the road or off in the ditches. No one actually around to help though.

XJ battery croaked. I need to get another before I can go play again.
I stayed home all yesterday, but I did get out for a walk in the snow with the dogs, and saw it wasn't too bad for an XJ. I went out this morning, and the traffic was light. US 78 inside I-285 was not bad, but outside I-285 was a different story. Only one lane with tracks, and everyone crawling along. The reason was it had re-frozen from yesterday, and was very rough. I got bored, and pulled out in the "snow lane". It was mostly ice, but much smoother than the ""open lane". I passed all the crawlers, and had the road to myself. When I went to get off, I was behind a semi going 2 mph. The ramp was downhill, and covered in ice. I was tempted t pass him, but I didn't want to "ski" into the intersection (or a car). I just waited, but never had any problems. Nothing was open, so I am back home and bored again
