We got a couple things knocked out last Saturday.
Ryan got the OE bushings cut out of the beams and tacked in the spherical cups.

We designed and built the lower radius arm mounts.

And then got them tacked in and mocked up the radius arm so we could start cycling it.

Are you planning on wrapping that end with the uniball? Looks awfully thin there. Otherwise looks great!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say no, but we'll access it when we weld it.
The outer edge is thicker than it looks in the picture and we still have a lot of plate work to do on the back side of the beams.

Not hard at all if he brings the engine forward a tad and pulls the radiator/ac/fan.

I'm a little late but you can put those tube clamps on the engine cage bars so they're removable.

We’ll be designing and building the cross member this weekend which is going to take a fair amount of R&D.
Hopefully have some more updates after the weekend.

In these pictures where is the engine cage tube tied into? Im talking about the tube closest to the radiator.

No real updates to report.
We ended up putting a slight bend in on the radius arm to squeeze more steering angle out of it.
Ryan purchased the By-passes for the front and traded the glass fenders in the earlier pics for a set of flat top 4 inch'ers.

TDS is this weekend, so its deffintely not going to be there. We'll be putzing around in my little yellow Manx, so say hi if you see us or swing by the National Drivetrain booth and say hi or ask a question. Bring beer.

We'll be chipping away at it again very soon.

We got the beams cut and turned and a lot of the plate work on the beams done over the weekend.
Still need to truss the front of the diff housing, but progress is progress...

Not much to update. finished all the plate work on the beams. Made the clocking ring and clocked the diff to compensate for the cut and turn.
Knocked out the truss and just need to finish some welding before it all goes back under the car.

We got some Father’s day garage time passes this weekend.

Ryan and I worked on getting the radius arms built so we could cycle the suspension for and get the shocks mounted.

We started with 1-3/4 tube and then worked on the plate work.








We cut a window in the top of the driver side arm to make the two side mounting bolts more accessible.

Once we had the majority of the radius arms made up, we started working on the shock mounts.







After cycling the beams we mounted the lowers at about a 45* angle to make sure the shock rod end didnt have any bind.

Nice work Eric. Have you cycled it up with a tire on it to make sure the top of the tire will clear the carrier and bypass?

From the looks of it he'll have plenty of space. The Dana 44 hubs push the wheel out some.
Such a bad Ass build.
