Dual Axle XJ

you'd need a rockwell or a similar style axle.....it's gonna be a big truck like a semi or a dump truck.

No you don't.

Some tcases can be adapted so the offset (front) output has a yoke on both the front and back. You then run a two-peice driveshaft and an offset second (tandem) rear axle.

It's pretty hardcore fab if you want to run anything but leaf springs. There was a 6x6 M715 on ifsja that was going to have dual 4-links in the rear. He scrapped the 4-links in favour of leaf springs just because it was going to be too much of a nightmare.

Good point, didn't think of that.

Still going to have to have an odd pumpkin for the rear axle...

There's lots of offset axles out there to work with. As long as you want it to be passenger side drop. Landcruiser, landrover, Eaton (old chevy), oldschool cherokee/jeep, to name a few.

Or, you build the axles yourself. Which, if one is to attempt a 6x6 conversion I would hope that that isn't what they think of as a 'huge' deal.

It is a do-able project. It'll look gay as a couple guys in pink shirts and tight shorts with an XJ body. Or a wrangler body. Or most things.

not a dual axle rear but its is a dually rearNAXJA!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always like that dually xj and wanted to know more about it...I thought someone made a pass through 9"..didnt I see that somewhere a long time ago

This is silly.

If you have to ask how to do it you have no business thinking about it.

This can't be for real.
