Has anyone felt the pedal feel of a Pre-94 master cylinder (15/16) with a dual-diaphragm booster in addition to a stock 97+ (1" master) setup?
My understanding of master cylinder sizing is that while a larger bore pushes more fluid, the pedal will remain harder and higher with more required effort. That is usually a good thing but my 2001 is stock and stops well with a nice high pedal. But I've always felt I wouldn't mind more pedal assist at some detriment to pedal height. Unsure if anyone's ever done this "downgrade" before or put a dual diaphragm on their pre-94 with the stock master and has insights on feel.
Are the pre-94 masters even compatible with a 97+? I know the older has the GM style single metal cover with the wire retainer.
