Damages.....

Howdy! When you get tired of banging out dents just dovenose the front/rear, chop the back, add a lot more tube, say screw the glass and still keep a fully inclosed cab area.

Yeap! Had to bandaid this one. It will happen some day I think.

I want to dove nose the front, haven't figured out how I want to do it yet. How much stuff do ya have to move?

I can't seem to find any photos of people who have done it.

Yeah, richards is what's got me wanting to do it but I want to keep the stock upper coil buckets.

If you know Miller McArther then you know what I want.

When I cut..... it will be everything in front of the motor mounts and everything behind where the unibody steps up for the rear seat. I'll have 4 corbeaus and some bling shocks all arround. Might even throw a 5.0 in there eventually! Will be a few years away!

At the very least I need new coils. I am thinking new shocks too and change things up some. Have been considering both air shocks and coil overs. I can squeeze the money now for coils but the rest is out of budget. Unless I can find a sweet deal on something used.

How did you manage to bend the coils like that?

Man, those things were a PAIN!

I'd say that was what did the coil in. So replace to change.... thoughts?

Either or..... Personally I'm a fan of coilovers on an xj but your cheapest option would be coils. Coilover cost can be segmented as well (shocks, 2 sets of springs, tube for mounts). I guess the real question is how much do you want to keep investing in the body...... Or just keep it alive until you can bite off building a chassis
