d44 @ wilmington yards

went out to the wilmington yards today, tons of rear xj d44s to be had, even an mj d44

2 xj d44s + 1 mj d44 @PAP (north side of PCH)
and 1 or 2 xj d44s at the ecology

too many marked up oem d44s for sale online.... go get your own

This past Sunday at the Stanton yard, we saw an MJ with a D44 being taken offline and to the crusher.

At the small Wilmington yard, there was a high-pinion front D44 under a '70s Ford pickup. And it had the welded on wedges.

I know what your saying, but last time the cashier ladies were a little too butch for me, I was genuinely disappointed. It's always the high point of my trip to that place.

ive paid $190 and $165 for d44s at ecology wilmington
if they ask, its from a 2wd, NOT A 4X4
they dont allways ask

update 2/23/08 as of 1pm, there are still d44s at wilmington ecology,
also saw some black and blue interior door panels for a early xj 4 door, id grab em myself if i had the dough....
also at the wilmington PAP (norte) theres a FULL set of oem armor(front, t/c, and gas tank skids, towhooks), INCLUDING A REAR TOW HOOK!
its on a light blue 2door xj in the back

also, FYI one of those yards does half price on rainy days... i cant remember if its eco or pap.... ask about it at the pay window!

I haven't purchased anything on a rainy day, but I have been to ecology on a raining day and they told me at the front gate that it was 25 percent off.

I got a rainy day discount at ecology in Riverside one time (many years ago) but back then it was 50%. I think they changed it to 25% recently.
