Lookin good! I like how you took the B pillar through the existing body. That would have allowed me to put my doors back on without major cutting.

Just add "paint it yellow" to the list and lets wheel!

i likes it! are you gonna have a soft top? or will you modify the original hardtop to be removable? i've seen some good softtops, but i don't know how cold it gets in your neck of the woods, since i'm in tn and all....

Got a 4 x 8 sheet of HDPE, the plastic the make cutting boards out of, going to make a top out of that and see how it looks. It's white and kinda translucent so we'll see.....If it looks bad I'll do either a soft bimini top or an aluminum roof like a buggy.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Figured out tonight that the PRP seats I have will work everywhere but the drivers seat...the trans tunnel is just too big on that side. Going by Twisted Stitch tomorrow to see if that can make me a matching narrower one.

I'm in socal so it doesn't get too cold...if it does the new seats have heaters built in :)

A few cell phone pics of the progress. Got the tail gate fabbed up and the spare tire mount.

Probably going to cover the inside of the tailgate, maybe with some more hdpe.

OK that's it for now. Going to hit it again next week and finish the roof and taillight box.

Chris

cool looking gate.

Thanks guys...it's been a lot of work but I'm having fun and thanks for the encouragement Tony :)

The driver's seat I had wouldn't fit so I had to order a new one with a norrower base....that damn hump for the t-case really sticks out far. The seat is supposed to be ready tomorrow so hopefully next weekend I can get everything bolted in place for final mock-up. I got the Dupli color bed liner kit and spray gun for the interior but I might wait until after the first trip in case I decide to change something.

Also I need fab up the tail light box..I thinking something like this :

Where you thinking? Across the top would look bad ass but with a lifted rig most wouldn't even see it.
