crazyjim's Comanche Prerunner / Chase Truck build

jim i totally think that you should set the mj up with a giant 64" kit for the rear.. with a set of king link killers... that thing would be badd ass setup. or even run a pair of 62" spring unders. deaver f67. im done a good amount of research on this.. with that setup it will pull an easy 16-18". probbly have to c notch the frame to allow for clearance. prbably get a setup like this around 1k but well worth it

Do you know the dimensions of the F67 pack?, is 62" along the arch?, what is the eye to eye straight across?

Should be right around 62" eye to eye while sitting unloaded.

We run the deaver f55 62" on our race truck and we love them. I know the f67 is a taller pack with more arch so I would expect you would need to get some sort of traction bar to control wrap. Fwiw with our lower f55s we get about as much axle wrap in sand, gravel, and hill climbs that if we had anymore we would need an anti-wrap device.

I've considered the 62" route heavily... many times, and just moving my spring hangers and shackle mounts. However once I get that deep, it's really just not worth it. I'm just going to drop it off at Deaver and have them build me a Custom pack. I have also been in contact with Bigoffroad about having Alcan build me a pack... I'm not sure though, I love me some Deavers!
