Damn it I would love to come do Slickrock. I just looked- 7 hrs, 47 minutes to lake Alpine from my house. 434 miles. And... I don't ever get fridays off.

It's done. I did a ton of work on it tonight . Driving the best it has since I got it.
I plan to leave after work on Friday. Not sure when I'll be off. I plan to pack thurs and just have the rig ready to leave Friday after work from Sacto .

Ok I have a football game Saturday morning but plan to leave right after it!

Slick rock will probably just be a saturday/sunday one nighter. I still have a lot to do.

Rubicon, October 1st through 4th. working thursday, going up after work thursday night. taking friday off.

getting up there late night thurs and wheeling into spider, maybe just Ellis.

If they close highway 4, we can either do Niagara rim or just the rubicon again.

I always take 99 to liberty to 12 to 88 to 4.

Id bet on highway 4 being closed or plan on slick rock being miserable.

Angels camp is being evacuated and everything up highway 4 to past Avery (just before Arnold) is under mandatory evacuation. There's already ash falling on highway 4 at Angels camp and above from what I've heard.
