couple reall quick thermostat

just replaced head and had a terribleeeeeeee time burping the system

1. can i drive my jeep for 2 days until i get a new thermostat. w/o a t stat

2. my origional thermostat has seemed to have dissappeared so i dont know what degree i should get. i live in mass were its got hot summers and cold winters. i drive about 25 miles per day max. and i do offroad (usually a 3 miles loop)

Yes. You can run w/o a t-stat. You will run a little rich as your computer thinks it needs to warm up the engine.

Get the tstat and gasket from the dealer, put the little hole in the flange at the 12 O'clock position. Torque the tstat bolts to 22ft lbs. You want a 195F which is what the dealer will have.
