collection of jeep stuff(build/blog)

Looking forward to installing the 241 next weekend...Kinda

Managed to make some small progress. Some side tube for the 2x6. It has 1" standoffs that were really fun to make that small. Added in some supports for the sliders too. Didn't want to cut up the floor so made some simple ones and burned them on. Came out nice. Bent up some tube for the front fender and made a hoop on the bumper.
Wasted a little bit over a stick so far

Thanks for the kind words. Ethan I will have to look into those.

Did a rear tube flare... Not sure I like it though. Might look better when it has sheet metal on it. Was a PITA to get just right

I say add a little angle to the sheet metal might look better than flat fenders. Not as steep as the factory flairs but more than a flat fender.

I love it!!!!!!!!!! This is exactly what I want to do to mine when the time comes.

The only problem I have with it is it's further out than my quarter armor slider.
That just means you can go more "retard" while dragging it on rocks. Haha. But remember, you never go full retard.

Ended up ditching the tube flare idea.. Good concept I just didn't like the look. Painted some stuff today like the rear wheel well. Some bedliner on the sliders. Primed some tubes for the time being. Pulled my carpet and it was pretty soggy underneath. Some pretty decent rust on the passenger side only. Need to take a look into my cowl I guess. Also found my rear DS has been twisted.. And probably for some time now. I'm guessing since fordyce.. Tube bender all set up and perfectly at 0 degrees on the die. :)

That's a sexy shot in the shop, I've got a feeling I've got rust on my boards due to some puddles after the rains. Gotta change that windshield

My god I couldn't imagine trying to do the bends I did today with the manual bender. Love this air/hydro setup. Messed up on the windshield bar. Sides are .188 and thankfully the sticks came in about 22' lengths. I used about 10'8" a side.

cage looks awesome!
