:hang:Well damn.. the end of the tj arm that mounts to the steering box has too small of a diameter haha.. sorta found out the hard way. after drilling it to 1" with a dewalt cordless and wasting my spacer by welding it in
Thats very strange, I haven't seen anything about them having to be modified at all. That thread I posted a guy went from a yj arm to an xj no problem. Unless theres a difference between the tj & yj arm, I don't see an issue. What year did that arm come from?
should be the same Pat, I am pretty sure TJ guys use XJ boxes and XJ guys use TJ boxes, and they all use the same PSC boxes. Did you evaluate the master splines to make sure that maybe the TJ doesn't have more master splines? you can shave them down and file them down if so.
Make me some offers. I just ordered a diy dirtbound kit. Perfect condition and has held up to lots of abuse. I've used the receiver with my winch several times.
In the market for tube bender. The jd2 model 3 seems to be the best bang for the buck. What you guys think? Thin budget but I'm splitting costs with a friend.
Jd2 model 3 is a nice bender. I have a pro-tools 105 and it works. I like it. If I needed to buy another bender down the road, I wouldn't mind giving the model 3 a shot to see how I like it. IMO they're pretty equivalent benders so it really boils down to which is cheaper and in stock when you're buting
