Monterey craigslist tends to have the deals. And this guy accidentally posted it in the Auto Parts section... Unfortunately I was beat to it.. Even though I told him I'd give him $900 straight out just last night. Which was his asking price.. Oh well, they'll be another

Nah just clear coat is peeling on the hood and roof couple dings i could bondo.. not much but I hate hate hate the maroon

Finally got my ruffstuff tire plate today. Welded on some 1/2 grade 8 bolts and used my little Hobart 140 for the welding this time. I think I want to cut some of the square tube off a bit to get a little closer fit. It might be more work than worth though. There isn't much movement with the carrier other than my release pin. Need to get one a tad larger like 9/16 for a snug fit. .. anyways here's some pics. Still needs paint.

Just ordered jd2 model 3 and a 1.5" x 4.5" radius 90° die set. Need to make something to mount it to.

I've read through tons and tons of threads of cages including reading Eric's book about them.
I want to base mine like this one. With inner triangulation. If anybody is in the bay area that has done a cage and would like to help that'd be awesome. Have a huge warehouse in San Jose. I need as many opinions as I can get before tackling this.

Aggghh bender is on its way the time is near! Got quoted 2.98$ a foot for 18-20 ft sticks of 1=5" .120 wall DOM. Seems like an amazing friggin deal
