you need to plate the outside and underside of the frame . I bet you have more cracks that meets the eye.

Ya I can see a crack I can't get to. But it's at the end of the underside rail. I am gonna plate the bottom too

And use bolts not just welding . Use every factory bolt hole and add some through bolts

that brace isn't holding onto much on the passenger side. if it's actually spreading some of the force from the driver side, it's not spreading it to a very big area. I could see that inner lip getting a little floppy over time if you know what I'm saying. when you add plates I'd try to integrate that brace a bit better

Thanks guys and yeah Gordon surprisingly I did feel a difference in how it handled on the street.
And I agree man I think when I plate the bottom I'll throw a small bead on the back side of that passenger plate.
I'm still waiting on my hd off-road stiffies. Just got some scrap 1/8" stuff from my local metal fab shop for 5$

Just purchased these bad boys (http://m.summitracing.com/parts/pwr-kc2149-36) the jks flange spacer and alloy USA wj ball joints. Now to get off my lazy ass and go get the knuckles from pnp.

eh I'm thinking a little more than a small bead. I'd want that sucker attached to 3 sides of the frame rail, or at least bottom and outside OR bottom and inside. but thats just me. I don't play games with these uniframes

Unfortunately it is a 94-96 model. My dash is way different. I was pretty bummed too And it'd probable be more work. I would love a hybrid cage anyway.
