Put in a bunch of work the last two days... So I still split open my lower quarters on 35s so I said screw it time to cut and fold em.

I had jcr lower armor so I have a couple exposed holes to fill. Plan is to light sand fill them and spray bondo undercoating. I've chopped up my rear bumper and extended a piece of 2x2 .25 wall square tube to the cut and folded section.
Heres the progress I've made.. Tomorrow its paint and prep and install. Sorry if the pics are shitty... when I get to working its usually non stop.

Bumper trimmed

Looking good mang

Looking really good, if they are in good shape, mind donating the lower quarter armor?

Thanks guys...
I'm bummed. Today I installed it after some bedliner and undercoating. And the bars point inward about an inch or so from the edge.
It's not too bad just after all tht work it's pretty disappointing

Thanks for the love dudes. In the end I'm picky and it's those little things that big me. I'll probably fix it down the line.

For now I've also fixed my steering damper. Between reno and sr/dv I ended up with this

I chopped my tie rod mount and re welded it to the side I needed. Used my factory ss and a bolt through my track bar mount

Haha I know Gordo

Ya it sure is a lovely thing... Except today. I woke up this morning and started the white jeep and it just sputters then dies. Tried starting it a time or two after that but same deal.
Gotta do some troubleshooting after work :banghead:

No way man! Check all connections to the rule pump, the relay too. What about testing CPS and TPS?

I did wash it yesterday.. But I drove it 20 or so miles after I did and it started and ran fine.
I donno if the tps got wet.. Maybe my dizzy cap. Wouldn't surprise me with te hood vents. I have a brand new cap and rotor and a jy oem tps I'll throw on.

I'm kinda leaning towards fuel related or possibly crank sensor. I've never changed to crank sensor so maybe after 152k it's toasty
Going to check for codes. Good thing I get out of work really early today.
Super bummed.. Freeegin jeep gremlins

honestly you will have some gremlins in the first year or so, and then years of mostly smooth sailing with the occasional TPS or CPS issue. I had to dick around with a bunch of things in the beginning once that got ironed out it has been years of mostly non-issues(well, non-electriclal gremlins at least, other issues for sure)

Aight where's my jeep gurus at

I've tested the cps after unplugging the pigtail and measuring resistance between b and c. I get 4.22. The test procedure says to measure from 1-10k and you should get an infinite resistance reading. I don't have a 1-10 option so I used the 20k.

Don't wanna throw te $90 at napa if I'm wrong.

well, 4.32 <<<< infinite so maybe its bad? I don't know I always have to look it up.

check for spark from the dizzy, that'll tell you if its really shot or if its working at all. next thing is to unplug it and plug it back in.

Did you ever get new battery clamps? I remember yours being really loose.

Sounds like its time for the scrapper... I'll take it off your hands for you tho.. lol
