Brendan, I just got word (2 DAYS NOTICE!!!! A-holes) I am gonna have to work saturday (at least morning). Not sure I will make it or not at this point. I guess it's better to be busy then the other option with the way things are going right now.

Sorry gang,
I will not get to make it. My son has been in the hospital all week and finally will go home today. He had an issue with his eye but luckily no surgery was needed. Needless to say, we have to be careful and rest up this weekend.
I am sorry I can make it. If anything changes and I get a chance to stop by I will do so. If not, you guys have a blast!

it really really upsets me to do this, as my kids were looking forward to it..... but im going to back out of this. i dont want to hang out all day with a bunch of people who hate me, either to my face or behind my back.

Grimm... don't back out. Not for this reason. Keep in mind that online disagreemes (lets be nice and call them that) are usually best resolved in person and some things that are misunderstandings (cause some of them are) get quickly solved over a beer.
Note to all, don't let all the drama we've been dealing with recently spoil the Xmas party and don't back out.
