I have a small jeep club (no dues) and am looking to grow and thought posting here may help. If you read the site you will see I and my club have alot to offer in regards to politics and legal locations. I would like to unite some more jeep junkies like myself in the central mass area. We are the weekendjeepers and I condust a trail ride every weekend and I mean every. I alternate between rides and cleanups with a larger local group. Please stop in and see what you think. Please act responsible and post according I like this group and would like to keep it on the rise as it is going.. thanks

Just to clarify I spoke with a few moderators here and at another site. This isnt to promote another club just my site and the ability for local guys to wheel without a long drive.. just an addict that wheels way too much and wants to drag others on my awesome trail rides.. Joe (the only 2005 with 10,000 miles of trails on it)

we are running this sunday coming up for anyone interested. exit 10 off the pike auburn mass. stay right at toll booth and merge with rt 12 about 2oo ft up on left meet in tj-max parking lot around 10-10:30 am channel 7 on cb or call me if you are coming joe-774-696-4383. Will be an amazing time we are running a long very technical loop with a real deep water crossing..

WATER!

I hate water.

Cmon mud and water are the best...Ive seen a stock liberty go through the water. Its about 36 inches deep.. You just go slow and keep moviing.. If you cant make it through the water you'll never make it over the rocks. If a stock liberty can do it,Id say you can..

I don't know about Eagle, but my budget doesnt have the cash to drown my heep right now, besides that it isnt a matter of whether or not my rig can or cant do mud, water, rocks, (it CAN and has plenty of times, )whatever, its a matter of what chances are you willing to take? is your rig your daily driver ?, still making payments on it?, have wife and kids along? what purpose does going through the water hole serve? is it the only way through this trail, is the trail submerged? that is my only point. I think I will stay with not having to do unnecessary cleanup work on my rig, thank you very much......... :laugh3:

I second that. :lecture: especially the part about can do it, but why bother unless it's the only way through. :dunno:

Well, my intent isnt to dump on another wheeler for what they prefer,so kcvikingrun, don't take it personally at all. I understand wanting to wheel without having to drive two hours or so to do it, I just dont care for wheeling mud and water. I guess that also depends on what you get out of wheeling as well.....good luck with yer little club.

im pretty sure i know where he is talking about.. its a pretty deep place where the water comes over the road regularly.. i've seen it dry last year but it is the only way thru unless you re-planned the whole trip...

Hey guys,

This is dave from Amherst Mass, I just wanted to know more about your rides. I am a senior at Umass and wheel all the time, love to get on the trail with you guys soon.
