Cage construction

Looking good!
Whats the plan for the rear after what I guess would be your B pillar?

Here is the basic mock up.

Half of August, all of Sept, Oct, and half of November is volleyball season.
That is why I work on the buggy at 4am until my crew shows up at 7:30.
Plus, there are some weekends available.

dont do cali metals, competative metals!!! tell them i sent you and save ( or have me call them for you )

Nice work.
There are times when I wonder if I should have just done that with mine rather than deal with all the dumb body in the way and I'm not even finished yet!

Hard to tell from the pic about space up front, have you decided on radiator relocation, Yay or Nay, yet?

Radiator will be located in the back.

Have you thought about rear shock location ? I'm not seeing were you are going to put the shocks. Looks like that rear horseshoe will be right in the way.

They will be located just on the outside edge of the rear cage.
Although exact location hasn't been determined, the rear hoop
shouldn't be a problem (famous last words of a fool!)

BTW can you measure the space between your shock mounts for me.
Just for reference?

There have been a few questions (PM's and on another thread) regarding the lack of triangulation and frame support. What you have seen so far is just the basic outline of the buggy. There will be plenty of bracing and added support, including engine cage support.

Stay tuned!

DAM, you still working on this rick? I would think by now you would be done..Who is helping you? For the next couple of weeks i am busy, but i think i can come down after that if you need help..
