If the paint and body are good.... $3500 is a very good deal.

Hate it when ads don't contain the minimum info like year, miles, engine, etc.

Looks to be '87-'90 but could also be the crappy '84-'86....... Which would make the price way too high.

That is so friggin' awesome. Troy you should scoop that up and add it to the MJ collection. Or at least get it and make a trailer out of the bed.

What bed? They ruined it doing that ridiculous frayed thing at the back.

Hopefully that was a rotten POS but no, I bet they started with a clean truck when they created that abortion.

I am thinking Mad Max with sequences!!!

Good gawd........

Jeep Grand Wagoneer stainless drip rail mouldings, shiny! No fading! - $400 (Littleton)

I am selling a set of stainless drip rail mouldings, and rear window moulding for any full size Jeep. This set will fit any Grand Wagoneer, full size Cherokee, or early full size Wagoneer. All the drip rail lengths are the same. This can also be cut down to fit the full size Jeep J-truck.

Your current drip rail mouldings are probably faded to yellow or green, and probably peeling. So replace the entire setup with these stainless pieces that will never fade, never dull, never peel, and never rust! Simple installation, I can even help you with it. These are made from the same stainless material that you'll find in that little corner elbow just above the front vent windows. Included is the rear window moulding that frames the window.

OK. Fully restored FSJ are very pricey vehicles indeed. The $40k is not a misprint. They go for that.

Here is a typical restorer:

IMO, he way over restores.

We had a '91 and I would cheerfully have another for a Town/Highway/Tow Jeep. About all the AMC 360 need is to have the factory carburettor and ignition tossed into the trash and replaced with modern stuff. I still have an HEI distributor laying around here for the AMC V8. Best thing AMC did was to make all of the V8 blocks the same outside dimensions. Can drop a 360 in place of the 305 without any issues. By replacing both on out FSJ, the mileage went from "you have to be kidding me" to a respectable 15mpg in town and nearly 19mpg on the highway. Or, about what I get on my XJ.

Even though they has leaf spring suspension front and rear, they ride nice. they should as they weigh about as much as the Empire State Building...

Yeah 304/360/390/401 all fit in the same spot. That was really cool.

(and the bellhousing pattern is the same as the 258 and therefore the 4.0... AMC had some really cool ideas. I hear that stock engine to motor mount brackets will even put an AMC V8 into a vehicle with stock 258/4.0 motor mount placing, but haven't verified.)
