Badlands trip?

I plan to make it for this one, arriving Thursday evening/leaving Sunday morning again, this time hopefully with a fully functional alternator. A CB is a must before I make it this time too, I feel like I held everyone in BOB's group back before, not going to do that again.

Nah....we just kept going....I dont think we even noticed up front! :D

I'm not sure mine did me much good anyway. Every time bob starting talking, it sounded like there was a cat dying inside his CB. I had to keep bugging Rob to figure out what he said.

Trying to talk my friend with the turkey fryer into going, but even if he doesn't go I will probably be stealing the fryer from him :D Providing a turkey would help out a great deal! We'll fry whatever people bring.

I have one, someone bring an un-frozen turkey, I will take care of the rest.....
I promise this time.....

One un-frozen turkey is coming with me.
should we have two?

what do we do with the feathers :)

Sean..maybe you can call Carrolls and see if you can reserve a spot as close to the primitive section as possible. They should be able to work that out for you.

BOB

maybe when John gets back from Hawaii, he'll be
ready for some wheeling.

BOB

any MWC officers have a problem calling the the MWC Springfest?
if so just call it Taterfest :)

BOB

I also will call it Springfest, whether that's it's official name or not ;).

Taterfest! Thats awesome! :roflmao:

If there are a few people wanting to run green during the April trip to BL's, I would be more inclined to show up :) And as far as this pig gig, er whatever, I have a gun...I like to shoot it...I also have a CCW (concealed carry weapons permit) Does Illinois honor an Indiana CCW with the exception of Cook county? I'm pretty sure they do.

And this little get together at the BL's sounds like a good time...I like how Stryker called us family!! NAXJA

I'll be running green again!

IN is still the only state that does lifetime permits right? Seemed like other states didn't care much for honoring ours after we did that...

As far as what trails we run, it doesn't matter much to me, the way this thread is picking up steam we'll probably have enough people for two groups. Or we can all run green, and then half of us can run orange while the others just screw around in the quarry or the huge mud pit or run other trails. I would be down for running both green and orange.

The reality is that we will all show up and decide in the parking lot what the hell we're doing :)

There is plenty of room down in the primitive area.
There is water and electric.
We have a spot picked out already.....

I think there will still be several of us running green. Hopefully we can remember how to get through the trails by ourselves lol. I think I got a pretty good Idear!

BOB is gonna be there, Rob! Maybe he will be a pal and run us through it again. :D

ideally we can run through green and white pretty quickly.
I consider white the other side of the quarry, and into the creek, all the way to the sand.

Then maybe we can get some people without lockers to ride with people with lockers on the orange trail. You can't hurry too much through orange. There are several areas to spend time attempting more difficult obstacles. This way, everyone will get to see iorange and know what to expect later when they build up their XJ's.

BOB

Woo Hoo I want something a lil more challenging!

Can't wait for the trip!

X2 I got a TJ and a ZJ coming and maybe another XJ and a WJ(if he's not afraid to scratch it)

I'll do my best to get a locker by then....I really wanna do orange.
