made it back in one piece! good trip, met a lot of good guys and some cool rigs! i cant wait for winterfest, i wish i coulda stayed and camped and cooked out but when you have to baby sit 4 boys to pay for your trip you gotta do what you have to.

How did the super cool smiley bumpers come about?I saw mac's while I was helping my buddy find his lug nuts and put his wheel back on outside the gate.Had a good time out there yesterday!One of our guys from jeepininin rolled his XJ back in the quarry right before the park closed.He was alright though.The jeep on the other hand.......well it needs a cage now.

They both came out of the tube on the right side. They didnt come out with enought speed and caught their rear bumpers on the tube. The red JK hit the tire carrier but didnt get any damage. And i didnt get any either. The two guys at the end of the group saw the bumper damage and went around lol

Never been through the tubes, thats probably why I didn't get a smiley rear bumper!

I just missed seeing it happen. I went cruising through the quarry just as he got flipped back over again. At first I couldnt see why there were so many people surrounding him at the rock face, but when he pulled up to the trailers in the lot, WOW! Then i understood why.

And both front seats were dry, I checked. Didn't ask about the pants though.

Yeah I walked it with LS in the rear. It looks harder than it is. Mine just made a bunch of noise when I got to the top but that was just because my t-case skid was dragging

Yeah that chopped top XJ was just put together from spare parts and a free jeep.His plans were to bring it down just to see if there was anyting that needed attention for the next run,take it home and cage the inside.Man that would suck.He still plans to do the cage after a hole lot of shape shifting.

Haha, yeah you kept waiting for it to break and it just wouldn't. Had a good time wheelin with ya.

really fun time out there guys. thanks for the invite. got the durango threw all those trails with you. i still cant believe half the stuff i drove threw.I took a few pics but the camera was dieing fast.
the good
truck got nice and muddy and home safely with no tree or rock damage.

the bad
the aliment is way off to the right
one of my wheels has a new more rugged look to it
im sure there a lot of brush scratches that ill tell you about.

what happened
well threw one of those trails i took the "easy" way out and we came upon a rather large water hole (you see in the pic) and my great IFS kinda hooked under a tree root and jammed me up good. completely making a front pull useless. so rewster had to figure out how to get behind which he did i sat in the water for around 20 mins finally got out and had to drive threw a lot of brush to avoid the hole. Ha and when i finally started getting bck on the trail I picked up a 18ft. long tree that got stuck on the IFS and it must have taken 15 mins and all kinds of ramp attemps to get off that. good times good times.
for those of you that saw me in the back of the mudpits, that dodge was tired by the time we got there. I could bearly make it up some hills it was done for. running fine now tho so ill be ok.
