where's the Wheeling at in WI? I got some family up there, could make it a combo vist/wheel deal.
There is some pretty good wheeling around here. McCaslin Mountain Campground has about 400 acres with trails from easy to very hard. Awesome place to wheel and camping is good. This is located about ten miles east of Lakewood, Wisconsin.
There is also the Pipeline located south of McCaslin east of the town of Mountain. Great wheeling also and free being the National Forest. Camping is free also and you can camp anywhere. Here you don't have to worry about waking up the other campers while sitting around the fire drunk, night wheeling, or anything else you would want to do.
We usually go here Memorial, July 4th, and Labor day weekends. We did not go on July 4th but was told it was a good time. We are planning on going Labor day weekend.
Mache, where is your family here located? I posted some pictures of McCaslin a couple of months ago from a spring wheeling trip with ZukiRon. Look them up or go to
www.wohva.com and check out the pictures on there of McCaslin in the forum section. HTH.
So come on everyone, lets get some wheeling going on up here. You won't be disappointed at all. If you want rock crawling, good challenging trails, mud, whatever it is we have some very good trails for all to enjoy.
