Anyone have a trip planned for September or October to Badlands/Cliffs/Wellsville/or MI?

I'd be up for a run to wellsville in those months. I tried getting something together earlier, but it was too many conflicts.I got nothing going on about that time.
Labor day weekend wellsville urn

have you been there before? i hear its not marked really well and you have to know where you're going.

my neighbor's been quite a few times in his TJ, I could probably convince him to come, I don't think it will take much arm twisting to go wheeling.

I'd probably be down for a short trip around that time. I don't wanna drive to far though.

Wellsville is down on the river in OH, so it would probably be a bit of a drive for you. If this does happen and anyone wants to overnight at my place you're welcome to. I'm smack dab between cleveland and columbus on 71.

yeah wellsville is a bit of a drive for us Michiganders. but what isnt?

it's probably 4 hours from my house to detroit, and then 3 from here to wellsville.

well its 7 hours for me to the Badlands, probalby about the same to the Cliffs so its all the same to me. Only place in MI i really want to go to this year are Drummond Island and Silver Lake. But neither of those are a lot of fun.

We could probably do something at redbird in the late fall like we did last year. I don't even know why I am posting this because I hate that place.

badlands is 6 from me.
I could do that.
now that I've got rocker protection I've been wanting to go back and try out the harder trails anyway.

fine, I'll drive it, but you're fixing the body damage. I'll try not and f mine up as bad as Mark did, no following some crazy guy in a yj.
and I just fixed the passenger side door too.

Now that's the attitude I expected....do you mind if I use bondo and spray paint?

You are lucky to get that much out of me heck you havn't even seen my junk since the last redbird run.....can't even open my pass rear door anymore.

you don't need that door.
I've been pretty light on the body damage.
I leaned the bed up against a tree in Uwharrie, and I dented the drivers side read bed to match the passenger side dent I did at WF.
Other than some trail pinstriping it's still pretty clean.
I did lose a ten spoke center cap though, and that's what pissed me off the most. Stupid center cap. Lesson learned, remove center cap before playing in rocks
