Another Lift install......

darnit, i wish i was closer to some helpful people. i've got a 4.5" kit sitting in my living room. but i'm needing some help and a better location to install it. but so far i haven't gotten any offers to help me. :tears:

here is what you do. Get your lift in your xj take a friaday off and come spend the weekend here. I'll help you in my shop and im sure we can get some of the NC guy to help out. We just require you to feed and water us! LOL!

i might have to take you up on that if i can't find help up here. i'd rather spend $$ feeding fellow jeepers and learning more about my rig than giving some shop here $400 to install it and me not gain the knowledge

This will be a good one to make! We are swaping axles at the same time. He is going to get the 3.73 one out of the 84 I have and get rid of those crapy 3.07 gears! I talked to Billy last night and we will try and get the old axles out the night or wekend b4. It should be intresting and fun! :gee:

i did the cut and beat on my rear fenders, so i need to weld the tabs.

Yea i have a linclon 135 with flux wire in it. Can you weld thin sheet?

still debaiting, Andy is going to be in his shop all weekend, so i could fab up mounting brackets for my hood vents and mount the control arms and weld the tabs, maybe fab the long arms instead still very undesided. i want to help you and Billy too.

Mark I understand 100%! You have gone out of your way and it is greatly appreciated! We pulled the doner XJ in the shop last night and snatched the rear. That way there will be less to do Saturday. We are hoping to pull the front by Friday night. Anyone else want to come help feel free, and let me know.
