Another Lift install......

One of my local friends and I are going ot be installing a lift on his XJ. Not sure on the date yet but it should be in about 2 weeks or so. We are also swaping out his 3.07 geared axles with the 3.73 geared ones I have. It will be a long day for us and any and all help would be appreciated.

We are putting my old AAL in his XJ and I scored him a used 3" coil for the front. The kicker is we are swaping my "other axles" under his so he will have a lower ratio then the crappy 3.07's! Oh yea It's Billy by the way. The guy you coudl not remember his name! LOL! :doh:

I work until 330 mon-sat. So I would be happy to come on over either after work or an all day sunday deal (as long as you don't kick me out!). I can't say that I would be much help, but I would still like to come watch and learn. (I have watched my friend work on his RX7 so many times it rediculous!). Just give a little advance notice!

Well he is sending the $$$ for the front coils Friday. I predict the coils will be here next week some time. The boys turn 6 on the 30th, and the wife booked something today for a party for the weekend of the 6th! Once we get coils in hand we'll start planning! With my unexpected trip to Alabama coming up its hard to say when we will do it. Might see if he can wait till Sunday the 7th. LOL, thats like asking a baby to wait to eat his candy he just bought till he gets home from teh store! :rof:

You and me both. Last time I pretty much just gophered the tools, but it helped things along. You learn a lot just watching....

You sound like me: June 14-18 will be in Alabama, June 21-26 will be in Florida, and the 29th the twinns have eye surgery in Atlanta. Maybe Mike will still have those lights we discused! LOL! Damn this month is full!
