A how to wheel meet

Maybe thats why me and sam were siting on the side of the road on the way home, damn hammer foot

haha, heavy foot is how i ended up on two wheels against a tree when i was young. so where would this happen, is there any wooded areas in between chicago and milwaukee for wheelin' ive asked around but to my understanding everything has been leveled for housing plans.

I don't see the need.
Looks like 95% of the folks interested already know it all.
I mean after all, 1-2 wheeling trips is all it takes to know what you're doing.
:D

If this happens it needs to be taught by the old-timers of the MWC.

This is a GREAT idea! I've only been wheeling for about 2 years. Out on the trails 10-15 times, and I can guarentee that I still dont have the knowledge of it all.

I still consider myself a newb. There are sooooo many more people in the talented group of NAXJA that know soooo much more than I do. And if there were to be one of these "Training"/ "Learning" events I would absolutely be there!

I would be interested too. hoping to be able to make winterfeat next year I'll sill be mostly stock and it'll be my first time wheeling

im thinking i did a lot i should have not done. but thats ok. gotta break stuff so i can upgrade it

Now you're thinking. I think thats what Brendan Keeps doing. He grenaded his front axle and bought a Cummins as soon as he got home.

I feel i can help out some noobs since I am getting decent at driving on the trail. This may not be a good time for me to do it though. I am unemployed so i gotta save those unemployment checks and hope i get my job back soon.

Except your fat pig doesn't tread so lightly on the ice....enjoyed pulling you out. ;)

The other 4 jeeps cracked the Ice, I just finished it off! :D Getting stuck comes with the territory so I'm glad you got enjoyment out of it!

Id really like to see a how-to: trail fixes sort of thing. That would be interesting.

that would be interesting. I knw a few people were amazed in the quarry when I bypassed the stock fan relay. Simple things like relay pinouts and such are good basic knowledge to have.
Maybe something that can be done around the campfire, rather than taking up wheeling time during the day.

Luckily we had a person in our afternoon Green trail group that knew which pins to jump to get the electric fan to stay on. We used it to keep mrmikey's truck cool the rest of the trail..........until the ghost rock that ripped into his gas tank. Then it was all down stream from then on......literaly :eyes:

the new gas tank is in. i replaced both front brake lines. and now my front brakes wont work at all, and im afraid to bleed them. I know it will snap

Either way, its gotta be bled. If you use a box end instead of open end on the bleeders, you're more likely to crack them open without snapping or rounding them off. Even if you replace everything, you'll need to bleed the system to get the air out. It usually takes a buddy and a six-pack each.
