84xj 2door Build.

you can take off the tire, jack the axle up and get the shock off one side at a time. such a bad setup.
looks like the front lift is comprised of additional stock isolators to get about 2" of lift. you can leave those for now i guess. if the front shocks don't suck you can probably ditch the sway bar. and as long as your steering and control arm bushings are in good shape.

dude get rid of those rear blocks and that weird double shackle setup and put it stock for now.
im going too, but because the truck has been this way for almost a year. the rear leafs are actually flat and the drivers side one has a slight twist to it.

but yes as soon as i get my jack/jackstands back from my grandpa's house i will get all that garbage pulled out.

the front has a 3 inch spring spacer lift as well

good to know that i have a decent set of 31's on it already with lots of tread.

i can get more pics of the front end if you would like.. yeah.. the old owner was very cheap in his ways.

i think the shocks are for 2-4'' lift shocks.. i can get away with using the blocks and ditching the other shackles. to keep it at a level ride hight.

here is a picture of that spacer

Got some progress dont on the jeep this weekend
started gutting out the interior.. it has no carpet. so i think im just going to paint the floor black.. still need to rip out the back seat and drivers seat and pull the carpet that my mom inlaw put in LOL!

Im also going to crawl under it tomorrow and start removing the rear shocks and the front sway bar gear.

Going to order some new shocks this week for the correct size lift that is on it.

going to a couple junk yards later this week as well to see if i can find an xj and pull some gear off of it as well.
